If you come across the following error when trying to add domains:

Standard Error: ['/usr/bin/newaliases: error while loading shared libraries:
libkeyutils.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory\n']

Ensim - RHEL5 Add Domain Error

With new installations of RHEL5 and Ensim X, there appears to be a common error during adding new domains.

The error you should receive is as follows.

/usr/bin/newaliases: error while loading shared libraries: libkeyutils.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory\n

Ensim 3.1 Apache Bug

This is a bug in Ensim 3.1 that was resolved in 3.1.4, though Ensim has a suggested workaround for earlier versions. The problem occurs when the daily cron jobs are run and logrotate job attempts to restart Apache. this conflicts with the graceful-restart of Apache simultaneously being performed by the /etc/cron.daily/1hup_apache_logs job and the resulting race condition causes Apache to fail entirely and not restart.

The workaround provided by Ensim is to change the command in 1hup_apache_logs from:

When trying to license ensim if you recieve the following error then you will need to check and make sure that ports  '38397', '19638', '19640', and '86' are open:
